SUPERSTARS ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP set for 5th round of 2010, Giovanardi joins with brand-new Porsche Panamera S

After an one-month break following the last round at Hockenheim, the SUPERSTARS SERIES is back for more powerful action at Mugello, in the fifth round of its ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP, scheduled for the next weekend (July 24-25).

GIOVANARDI LEADS PORSCHE'S ASSAULT - A long awaited new contender joining the pack on the uphill Tuscan racetrack, as N.Technology is finally ready to race its new Porsche Panamera S, in the hands of ace Fabrizio Giovanardi. The powerful saloon racecar from Stuttgart is set to bring the total brand toll to 9, lining-up in the series sanctioned by ROMA FORMULA FUTURO alongside Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Jaguar, Maserati and Mercedes.

AN EPIC CHALLENGE - The Mugello circuit will host an epic challenge between two historic names in touringcar competition like N.Technology, Audi, and ROAL Motorsport, the 4-car team fielded by Roberto Ravaglia. Many variables are expected to come into play too, as several new challengers found winning ways in the brilliant SUPERSTARS SERIES environment.

FIGHTING FOR THE LEAD - The round at Mugello is set to display an huge battle for the top spot in standings. Thomas Biagi is leading on one of the ROAL Motorsport BMW M3s, while Luigi Ferrara (who scored wins in the first round of 2010 at Monza and in the INTERNATIONAL SERIES at Hockenheim) is following with just a 13-point gap on his CAAL Racing Mercedes C63 AMG. Another C63 from the German manufacturer is following closely, the one fielded by Team Romeo Ferraris for Imola's winner Max Pigoli. Following the top-3 racers, ROAL Motorsport's Gianni Morbidelli will try to be back in contention after winning at Vallelunga, like team-mate Stefano Gabellini, who stormed to victory at Portimão.

NEW ENTRIES - An additional Audi RS4 will be fielded by Hop Mobile Audi Sport Italia for rookie Alessandro Gabrielli, while Vallelunga's race winner Matteo Malucelli is set to rejoin the pack after his sensational debut.
